Per Bornstein, born 1965, received his architectural training at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York and at Chalmers University in Gothenburg. He studied interior and furniture design at the University of Gothenburg and is currently practising architecture at White arkitekter, where he became partner in 2003.
Per's work span a wide range of disciplines. From large-scale international architecture competitions to private houses, custom-made interiors, exhibitions and furniture design.
He has received numerous awards and competition prizes.
His work with Mattias Lind has also caught wide international recognition through books and magazines and was displayed to a larger audience through the exhibition ‘Young Architecture in Sweden' at the National Architecture Museum in Stockholm in 2005.
Per teaches frequently at the architecture school at Chalmers, at the University of Gothenburg and at the University College of Borås. He is currently working on a research paper on Le Corbusier and has recently completed a small house in Gothenburg where he lives with his daughter.
