Nendo

Tokyo based design office Nendo was founded in 2002 by young designer Oki Sato, who graduated as a Master of Architecture from Waseda University in Tokyo. Nendo's work include architectural projects - such as private houses, restaurants and interiors - and furniture and graphic design for numerous Japanese companies. After only two years in business, Nendo has successfully earned a long list of awards, such as the Gold Award of the 15th Koizumi International Lighting Design competition for students, Design Report Award Special Mention at the Milan International Furniture Fair 2003 Salone Satellite, Award winner of Tokyo Designers Block 2002 & 2003 and Tokyo Designers Week 2003.
